Grace House is a lovely care home. The staff are very nice and seem to really care for the residents. Food is exceptionally good. Dee the activities coordinator is wonderful at her job.
Activities & Wellbeing at Grace House Care Home
Staying active is essential for wellbeing, which is why Grace House has two dedicated Activities Coordinators who create engaging daily programmes for residents of all abilities.
Regular Activities Include:
- Chair-based exercise and gentle fitness sessions
- Arts and crafts
- Baking and cooking activities
- Bingo, quizzes and puzzles
- Music afternoons and singalongs
- Gardening and outdoor activities
- Film screenings and games
We also welcome weekly live entertainers, creating enjoyable social experiences for residents.
Local Trips, Events & Community Links
Grace House encourages residents to remain connected with the wider community through regular outings and events, including:
- Theatre trips in Farnham and Aldershot
- Countryside walks in Surrey
- Visits to local cafés and pubs
- Seasonal trips and festive events
We are proud of our strong community connections, including partnerships with:
- St Thomas-on-the-Bourne Church
- South Farnham School and Weydon School
These intergenerational visits bring joy, conversation and shared experiences into the home.

Home from Home My father has settled in well to Grace House. This is thanks to the manager and staff who are very caring. The cook has asked and prepared food my father said he would like as his appetite has been challenging. When I go to visit it really seems like a home from home.Review August 2021
My mother in law moved into Grace House in February 2021. At 94 years old moving into a care home during a pandemic was never going to be easy but Grace House’s handling of the move was exceptional. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. She has settled in extremely well with some of her own furniture and is enjoying the interaction with all of the staff. Thank you for making it feel ‘a home from home’! Nicky
